Spain was first found by Christopher Colombus, who also discovered Portugal, America, and of course Spain. The present day country of Spain was establised in 1492 as so as the discovery of the "New World". Spain was fairly new when Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand were the first of the royal family. Spain's first war broke loose in 1833 and ended in 1839. Sixty or so years later the United States declared war to Spain in 1898.As Spain won the first war, Spain was also unlucky to loose in war agenst the Untied States.
